Snow Day!

Yesterday was a snow day for us...lots and lots and lots of snow! We opened the back door and had to push it through the snow because the snow was so deep. We then had to shovel a path to the car...crazy! If I can brave the cold, I will get out and get some pictures of Old Man Winter to share with you guys. I've been told that last winter was extremely mild and this winter is extremely not-mild, so normal is somewhere in between. I think if we get two more inches of snow (which we are supposed to get this evening), we will break the record of snowfall for January.

What else is there to do on a snow day but play in the snow...of course, we have to wait for the temps to be in the upper 20's to lower 30's before we're brave enough to play in it. Temps in the teens are just not happening for these Texans...

How long does it take to get
3 kids and 2 parents into snow clothes?

15-20 minutes

How long does the little one
want to stay out and play in the snow?

5 minutes

Enjoying God's unleashing of the storehouses of snow
(have you read Job?) onto his creation?

Priceless!
