What we're reading this week...

We are surviving without cable! Yippee! I think what I might miss the most is Noggin because I love their shows for my kids. However, we are watching much less tv and that is a good thing! Jason introduced me to Hulu...way cool! It's a website of tv shows and movies, totally legal and totally FREE! So, for the past two nights, we watched an episode of House, our new interest...

We've also discovered that LOST and Heroes, the two shows we watch faithfully, can be seen on the internet. Instant gratification must be set aside as the shows are not available until the next day or few days, but please...is it really necessary to see it on a specific night?

Happy Reading!

My reading...
(I've heard great things about this book...we'll see!)

Emily's reading...
loves it!

Ben's reading...

Still Abby's favorite...

Bonus Books:
These books are great short devotions. Each devotion is based on an animal and how God created that animal to be important in His world and then ties it into our lives. My kids love these books...check them out!

and now...

Tell me more about hulu.com

What's the catch?

Hey Laurie!
I'm not sure what the catch is other than there are commercials, but only about 4 per show, one at a time for about 15 seconds. We've watched two episodes of House from the computer and it was just like watching it on tv with less commercials. I think NBC and some other affiliates began the site. I think you have to sign up for a login and password, but it is a free service and pretty impressive! Check it out and let me know what you think.
